Eating is a part of our everyday life and as such it may become a problem in many situations if you experience unhappiness with your weight or eating habits.

Have you always struggled with your weight?
Has your weight become a problem after a certain point in your life?
Do you find yourself comfort eating?
Do you feel out of control where food is concerned?
Is being over-weight affecting your self-confidence?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions then hypnotherapy can help you.

Your first session aims to discover the reasons for your unhappiness with your eating habits or your weight.  This will be a starting point for the hypnotherapy treatment which will specifically focus on those issues.  For example, it may be about raising your self esteem or helping you to become a more confident person. Also if you feel that there are any emotional issues which may be holding you back, Anna will be able to assist you in moving on from these.

In subsequent sessions Anna is promoting, a 'life long healthy eating program' as opposed to a 'diet'.  Some discussion about metabolism and how the body stores food will be a part of the treatment package. This program is tailored to the individual, focussing on your own eating habits, preferences and life-style.

Anna focuses on your own aims and designs the therapy to work towards realistic plans for each individual.  In this way you will be comfortable with the changes and they will naturally become a normal part of everyday life.

Eating Disorders

As I have more than 11 years experience working in specialist eating disorder services as well as being qualified in hypnotherapy, I am equipped to assist in finding the best therapeutic approach to help with eating or weight issues that may be causing difficulties.

Where anorexia, bulimia or binge eating disorder is a problem, I utilise a cognitive behavioural approach to help people make changes.
